Methodology |
Vigeo has a proven application deployment methodology. It is a phased project configuration and deployment methodology designed to ensure the success of a CRM implementation. It has seven stages:
Initiation Stage: In this stage, the project team structures the client's implementation project to be successful. The activities include organization of project team, definition of project scope and approach and establishment of project management controls.
Gather stage: This stage involves definition of functional and technical requirements, and detailed business process flows.

Bridge stage: The requirements are mapped against CRM functionality. Once the gap analysis is over, the gaps are closed either by process re-engineering or by recommending customizations to the application.
Design stage: A prototype of the proposed solution is built using application screen flows and design layouts to map the requirements developed in the Gather stage. This helps in reducing design gaps at an early stage. Detailed technical design specifications are created.
Construct stage: The application is configured, including customization, interfacing and data migration.
Testing stage: The application is moved from development environment to the testing environment. Key users perform an acceptance test to validate user requirements. The test environment checks for functionality, usability, scalability, reliability and performance.
Deploy stage: This stage consists of user training, production pilot run and final roll out. Feedback from the production pilot guides the full roll out. Activities in this stage include final configuration revisions, production environment tuning and documentation.
